Plant Identification

Plant identification can be very complex.  There are a zillion different species and each one is different, although some may appear to be the same.  They thrive in different places around the country, the list goes on and on.  Below are some good resources you may use to identify your plant/flower.  Please do not send us descriptions or photos of your plants to identify, we do not identify plants, we only provide the resources below for YOU to do so.  The best place to go to identify your plant is through your local agricultural extension service .  That contact information is on your state page on this site.  You may also return to wherever you purchased the plant and ask there.  NEVER purchase a plant that is not tagged.  If you don't know what kind of plant it is, you cannot care for it properly.
